Tomorrow is May 1, 2014– and it’s a big day for Synergy North America. Not only is it the beginning of Business Builder Conference month… not only is it a clean slate for Top 50 Challengers to win monthly prizes… it’s also a month where important changes go into effect for the benefit of customers across this great market.
New Pricing Structure
The simplified pricing structure that was announced on April 1 of this year will become effective starting tomorrow, May 1st. Within this new structure, Team Members and customers will find greater savings on our flagship product, ProArgi-9+, as greater quantities are purchased. We are happy to report that many Team Members have already begun to realize the benefits of this new structure and have been sharing the news with customers and contacts with positive results. Click here to view the updated US price list. Click here to view the updated US price list for bulk orders.
We’ve Heard You: ProArgi-9+ Jumbos
Many Team Members have requested the ability to continue ordering Jumbo canisters without the accompanying box of Single Serve Packets. Jumbo canisters can be ordered by themselves, priced according to the new structure at $235/170CV for the canister*.
Grandfathered Autoship Options Jumbo Canister Orders: Team Members and preferred customers who have an active Autoship template containing Jumbo canisters of ProArgi-9+ will be able to continue paying the current price of $225* through August 31, 2014. At the end of these four months, the price will change following the simplified pricing structure that becomes effective tomorrow.
Autoship 100 Packs: The Autoship 100 Promotion Packs will expire today, April 30th. However, as announced on the first of this month, those who have active Autoship templates containing one of these Autoship 100 Promotion Packs as of April 30th will automatically be grandfathered in through August 2014.
Orders of 48 Packs
Beginning tomorrow, May 1, anyone who orders a bulk pack containing 48 canisters of ProArgi-9+ must adhere to the policy designed to protect Synergy Team Members and customers around the world. This policy includes an agreement form that must be signed before the purchase is made. Details can be found on the agreement form.
Note that this policy has been put in place as part of Synergy WorldWide’s ongoing effort to combat the sale of Synergy products on online auction sites such as Amazon and eBay. We remind you that section 11.14 of our official Policies and Procedures manual states that “Team Members may not sell Synergy products on eBay, Amazon, or any other Internet auction/shopping site.” Failure to adhere to this policy may result in termination from the company.
Note: The prices above are applicable to Citrus Berry and Mixed Berry flavors only. ProArgi-9+ Grape is priced slightly higher due to the increased cost of raw materials for this flavor offerings. Click here to see price list >>
On May 1, 2014, a new pricing strategy will be implemented to ensure a variety of benefits for Team Members and customers alike.
Increased Value with Streamlined Structure ProArgi-9+ canisters and single serve packs will now be priced equally, simplifying your choices and your ordering process overall.
An even greater benefit of the new pricing structure is that it rewards greater savings with increased quantities purchased. In fact, the ProArgi-9+ Jumbo now includes a box of single serves for convenience on-the-go and even greater savings than before!
Autoship Qualifications Unchanged
The 100 CV Autoship qualification introduced with the Autoship 100 program in 2012 will remain unchanged; however, the Autoship 100 packs will no longer be available as of May 1, 2014.
The intent of the Autoship 100 program was to draw attention to the importance of Autoship while allowing people to qualify for commissions at the lower level of only 100 CV (as opposed to 120 CV). These business benefits will still remain; we are simply eliminating the promotional pricing but keeping the qualification parameters.
Anyone who has an active Autoship template containing one of the Autoship 100 packs as of May 1, 2014 will automatically be grandfathered in through August 2014.

This Friday’s Open House is primed to be one of our best yet. Based on feedback from many who attended January’s Open House, we have decided to again follow the new format featuring a powerful panel of speakers and trainers along with the guided tours.
January’s event hosted one of our biggest ever Open House crowds. These wonderful guests heard from a panel of speakers that included Double Presidential Executive Dianne Leavitt and Presidential Executives Rudy Pedroza and Paul Blad among others. These three accomplished business builders will be joining us again this weekend to share proven advice and their own impressive Synergy stories.
For the first time in 2014, this weekend’s event will also feature Synergy FounderDan Higginson as a special presenter. Come hear about the beginnings of this company directly from the person who started it all! You’ll also hear about the mission of Synergy and the vision for our future. Learn how one of Forbe’s magazine’s 100 “Most Trustworthy” companies builds and maintains this honorable reputation.
OPEN HOUSE DETAILS Date: Friday, March 28 at 1:00 Cost: FREE Time: 1:00 PM sharp. Location: The Open House begins with a tour of our manufacturing facility located at 1655 N Main St Spanish Fork, UT 84660. Please be on time.
Following the manufacturing facility tour, attendees will return to Synergy’s corporate offices to tour our headquarters, sample our products and hear from our Executive Team and guest speakers.
GOLD CAMP SEATS AVAILABLE
Good news for those who have not yet registered for the March 29 Synergy Gold Camp: there are still 12 seats available for Team Members seeking an elite network marketing education. Curious how the challengers are doing? It’s been just over one month since Synergy Founder Dan Higginson and President Dan Norman made a friendly weight-loss wager, and we are still well over a month away from the Business Builder Conference where the final weigh-in will take place. Who seems to be winning so far? Who is switching their typical breakfast to Health Shake? This video sent from Dan Higginson’s cell phone may provide the answer:
As you can see, Mr. Higginson is not messing around. Using an arsenal of Synergy products to amplify his efforts, he claims to have lost 26.5 pounds of fat. He’s looking more slim, sounding confident, and may just have a win coming his way. He seems to be exercising regularly which will definitely speed-up his smart-switch results. In fact, Dan’s wife Suzanna was good enough to send another video our way, proving further that Dan is walking the walk (or running the run?):
At an impressive pace, Mr. Higginson seems to be taking $1000 out of Dan Norman’s pocket.
Then again, Dan Higgison is on his way to Cancun, joining North America’s Top 50 Team Members of 2013. Starting tomorrow, they’ll be enjoying a resort together that provides food, fun and more food. Will he remember to pack his SLMsmart Health Shake? Will he be able to say “no” to the sugary drinks and endless snacks? Will he be listening to Bon Jovi on the resort treadmills or just mariachi music on a poolside lounge chair?
This may be Dan Norman’s chance to pull ahead. Mr. Norman has reportedly lost 15 pounds. Though this is significantly less than his competition, he’ll be home this weekend, far away from tempting buffets, safely close to scoops of Health Shake.
On top of that, Dan Norman has not lost confidence. Not once has he declared defeat. In fact, after watching these videos, his response was a simple smile and the words “I’m not worried.”
How is your personal Smart Switch Challenge going? Are you still drinking Health Shake instead of a typical breakfast? Maybe you’ve been switching your lunch to Health Shake also? Don’t forget to tell us about it! Submit your Smart Switch Challenge forms to tell your story, and you will be put in the running for big prizes from Synergy WorldWide. On top of that, you’ll be on a track to healthy, maintainable weight-loss that brings a world of rewards your way.
Synergy WorldWide invites you to bring your guests and join us on Friday, March 28, for a powerful Synergy Open House Event.
Attend this Open House event in its new-and-improved format and experience the Synergy Advantage firsthand.

Here at Synergy HQ, we are always excited to have Team Members from around the world pay us a visit. This last weekend was especially exciting.
Team Director Dr. Jim Sandberg made arrangements for about 25 members of his team to fly in to Salt Lake City. Some came from Kansas, some from South Dakota, several from the east coast, some from the west coast, and even one happy Canadian! These guests were prepared to soak-up as much information as they could, information they planned to apply to their individual businesses.
Dr. Sandberg planned carefully, organizing leaders from his upline to speak to and train his team. He worked with Synergy’s corporate staff to arrange a tour of the manufacturing facility. Lynda Hammons, Synergy’s VP of Quality Assurance, was there to welcome the group and give them an up-close look at each lab in her department. The group met and learned from members of our Executive Team, including Synergy President Dan Norman and VP Stewart Rutter.
This group brought a contagious energy, and made each tour and training session a lot of fun. Most had already experienced the benefits of the products for themselves. All were enthusiastic about the earning potential created by the compensation plan. They enjoyed meals together, learned from each other, helped on another and an overall fantastic team experience.
On behalf of Synergy North America, we would like to sincerely thank Dr. Jim Sandberg and everyone of his guests for coming to be with us at this event. It was truly a pleasure to have you, and we wish you all the best in your efforts.
To any other leaders that would be interested in following Dr. Sandberg’s example, we invite you to contact us. We would be happy to help you organize an exclusive event for your Team.
Remember: The 2014 Business Builder Conference is just over two months away. Many of those who were here last weekend will be attending this event as well, as the Business Builder Conference is an unparalleled event for Synergy’s North American Team Members. The early-bird registration discount ends this Friday, February 28. Don’t miss it— Register here today!

Company CSO Announces Plans for Labs, Clinics and Trials
Last night, Dr. Matthew Tripp, Chief Scientific Officer of Synergy/NSP, spoke to a large number of listeners on this month’s Cardio Call. Dr. Tripp had some important and fascinating things to say about our company’s research and development plans and our mission to reverse chronic disease. Here are a few of the highlights:
“After meeting with the top management of the [Synergy/NSP], what I recognized was that their vision and my passion are very well aligned. My passion is to make a difference in the world. You might call it a personal mission, if you will. It’s not religion based, it’s just seeing a great level of chronic illness in the world and asking ‘how can I make a difference’ and ‘how can we work together.’ That’s what impressed me about the folks at Synergy and Nature’s Sunshine. They cared very much. They wanted to leverage what they had to do bigger, better things.”
“We are building a molecular and cellular biology lab for discovery, a chemistry lab and a clinic. We’ll be running human clinical trials on our discoveries and also on many of our fine products to demonstrate their clinical efficacy. We’ll have state-of-the-art instrumentation. We’ll be developing our own intellectual property. It’s a full blown discovery and development project.”
Remember, you can listen to a variety of past Cardio Call recordings at any time by clicking the “Resources” tab at the top of this page.
ABOUT THE EXPERT Dr. Matthew Tripp received a Ph.D. from Washington State University in Physiology/Microbial Genetics/Microbiology; an M.A. in Microbial Physiology/Bacterial Genetics and a B.S. in Biology both from Western Michigan University. He completed extensive post-doctoral research at the University of California – San Diego where he discovered novel protein phosphorylation cascades involved in nutrient signaling (nutrigenomics) – processes that when disrupted by poor diet, lead to metabolic disease and chronic illness.
His career includes leadership roles and R&D responsibilities at the Kellogg Company, the Miller Brewing Company and Metagenics. He served as the Vice President of Research and Development at Metagenics, a leading developer, manufacturer and distributor of high quality dietary supplements and medical foods sold through health care practitioners in the U.S. and pharmacies abroad. He also concurrently served as Senior Vice President, Research and Development, at KinDex Therapeutics, a biotechnology company.
At Metagenics, Dr. Tripp had direct responsibility for managing the discovery, development, safety, and clinical validation of medical foods and nutraceuticals. Significantly, he led the creation of a substantial body of proprietary intellectual property, resulting in over 100 patents and patent applications.
Now, at Nature’s Sunshine Products, the parent company of Synergy WorldWide, Dr. Tripp serves as the Chief Scientific Officer. His responsibilities include working to oversee the company’s product research and development operations. Furthermore, he plays a critical role in clearly defining, developing and communicating the Company’s science strategy and vision to achieve higher organic growth and profitability through innovation.
