New Call Schedule for May

New Call Schedule for May

With May right around the corner, we’re updating our North American Conference Call schedule. Starting May 5th, our calls are officially moving to Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM (MST). That means we’ll be having our first May call on Cinco De Mayo, so get ready to celebrate with virtual tacos and good company! 
As a reminder, these calls will continue to happen every week and help us continue to build our community at Synergy WorldWide. Throughout the month, we’ll be featuring a variety of Team Members and Synergy leadership, as well as including product training and additional compensation plan details.
We will also be posting information about each call to our Facebook group, so don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! We will make sure that you always know when a call is coming up on the schedule, and how to join it easily. 
REMINDER that TOMORROW we’ll host our last call for April. That’s Thursday, April 30th at 7:00 PM (MST). As May begins, the calls move to Tuesdays.

About Noah Jenkins, PhD.

Dr. Noah Jenkins is the Research and Development Manager at The Hughes Center for Research and Innovation. With a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Utah, Dr. Jenkins has an in-depth and complete understanding of the human body and the nutrition essential to a healthy life. He completed a three-year postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Neuro-oncology at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at the University Of Utah Department Of Molecular Medicine. He is the author of 14 peer-reviewed academic studies on several topics including melanoma, brain cancer, and cardiovascular disease.

As an athlete and exercise enthusiast, Dr. Jenkins strives to achieve Elite Health daily as a national-level competitor in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and an Olympic-style weight lifter. He leverages his education and passions as a member of the Hughes Center research team to help Synergy transform lives around the world.

About Jake Rothfels

Jake Rothfels is the Sr. Marketing Manager for Synergy WorldWide, and has been with the company for more than 7 years. As an athlete, Jake is an avid backcountry skier, obstacle course racer, and canyoneer, while often racing marathons and running mountain trails. His enthusiasm for fitness and health help to fuel Synergy WorldWide as he encourages friends to unlock their full potential and reach Elite Health.

Workout from Home with Synergy Friends

Join the fun! Every morning this week, a series of exciting virtual fitness classes will be hosted for you and your friends, featuring super Synergy fitness coach Chrissy Rigby. These free, daily workouts offer a full-body exercise routine that you can do comfortably from your home. No equipment will be required, except a computer or smartphone. Simply join the class online via Zoom, at 9 a.m. (MST) and enjoy moving your body!

Chrissy Rigby, the talented International Les Mills fitness instructor, will be guiding you LIVE from Scotland each morning. With more than 13 years of experience, Chrissy is the perfect instructor to help you exercise at home as we practice social distance and keep each other safe.

These classes are generously designed specifically for Synergy friends and Team Members! No matter where you are, or what your fitness status may be, you’ll be shown ways to challenge yourself just enough to feel better, stronger, and healthier!

Immune-boosting Foods You Can Eat Everyday

Strengthening your immune system is important year-round, and maintaining a nutritious diet lays the foundation for optimal body functioning. We’ve made a list of top foods you can easily incorporate as part of your daily meals to help improve your health and bolster your immune system.


These fruits are loaded with vitamin C. Our bodies are unable to produce this vitamin naturally, so it’s necessary to include citrus fruits such as grapefruit, oranges, or lemons as part of a healthy diet. Vitamin C helps to build your immune system by increasing the production of white blood cells in your body. These cells are essential in protecting your body by fighting infections and illnesses.


Green vegetables such as broccoli or spinach are packed with a variety of vitamins and minerals including Vitamins A, C, and E, potassium and healthy fiber. These vitamins aid in white blood cell creation as well as maintaining organ health. Both may increase the body’s ability to fight infection by protecting cells against free radicals.


There are also a variety of nuts that help aid our immune system. Almonds supply the body with heart-healthy fat, protein and vitamin E. Similarly, walnuts can provide the body with valuable vitamin B6, copper, and folate. These vitamins can protect your cells from damage, enabling your white blood cells to function efficiently.


Spices are a great way to add some flare—and health benefits—to your meals. Turmeric is packed with curcumin, a compound that can boost immune cell activity and enhance antibody responses. Ginger has similar components to turmeric; however, it may also help decrease pain due to its concentration of capsaicin.


This fruit is rich with antioxidants and reinforces the immune system through antimicrobial activity. Pomegranate juice can assist the body in removing free radicals and protecting the cells from damage. The antioxidants found within pomegranate juice may also help protect the body against infection.


Green tea is full of flavonoids—a type of antioxidant—that helps aid the function of the immune system. These antioxidants help recharge a suppressed immune system. Green tea also helps de-stress the body and mind through its soothing aroma and flavor.


Almost all berries contain antioxidants and vitamins that can also boost energy levels and protect your heart. For example, acai berries contain high levels of fatty acids such as omega-3, omega-6, and monosaturated oleic acid—all of which help maintain a healthy heart.
